Sharing and embedding
Sharing your profile, and putting a live Revquix card on your own site in one of three formats.
Your profile is a link you hand out, and a card you can put on your own site. Both are covered here - sharing takes a second, embedding takes a copy-paste.
Sharing#
The share control copies your profile link and offers the usual destinations.
Two things worth knowing:
- Link directly to the sub-page when there is one.
/u/<you>/servicesor a single project page lands somebody on the thing you are telling them about, rather than on your profile hoping they scroll. See your public profile. - Your profile has a social preview. A shared link renders as a card rather than a bare URL, so it is worth checking your headline and photo before sharing widely - they are what the card shows.
Embedding on your own site#
You can put a live card on any site you control, in one of three formats:
| Format | Shape |
|---|---|
| Minimal | Avatar, name, skills |
| Full | Stats, skills, and a call to action |
| Horizontal banner | Wide - built for a sidebar or a footer |
Copy the snippet and paste it into your own page. It needs no account on the visitor's side.
Which to use#
- Minimal in a blog author box or an about page.
- Full where you actually want bookings - it carries the call to action.
- Banner in a sidebar or footer, where height is the constraint.
