Badges
The five badges that can appear next to a name, what each one actually certifies, and why there is no way to earn one.
A badge is a small mark shown next to a member's name. There are five, each means one specific thing, and every one of them is granted by Revquix rather than earned by activity.

The five#

| Verified | Revquix has verified this member's identity. The account is genuine and belongs to the person it represents. |
| Top Voice | A small circle of the most trusted and impactful members, recognised for consistent quality and contribution. Top Voice accounts are verified as well. |
| Professional Mentor | An approved mentor, cleared to offer paid sessions. |
| Revquix Staff | An official member of the Revquix team. |
| Partner | A verified Revquix partner or organisation. |
There is no way to apply#
No form, no threshold, no points to accumulate. Identity and recognition badges are granted by us, and asking for one does not move it along.
The one exception is Professional Mentor, which is not really an exception: it is a consequence of being approved as a mentor, and that is an application. See becoming a mentor.
What a badge does and does not mean#
Verified says we checked who somebody is. It does not say they are good at their job, that their advice is sound, or that Revquix endorses them.
For a mentor, the things that actually describe quality are their rating and reliability score - two different numbers, and both more informative than a badge.
Losing one#
The five do not behave the same way here.
Professional Mentor is not stored at all - it is worked out from whether you are an active mentor, every time it is shown. Become one and it appears; stop being one and it is gone, with nothing to revoke.
Verified, Top Voice, Partner and Staff are granted deliberately, and can be taken back the same way. A badge says something is true now; if it stops being true, the badge goes.
