How a Revquix Verified credential is earned.

    Pick a certification

    An open assessment, or a mentorship package that ends in one. Either way the time, the pass mark and the number of attempts are stated before you commit.

  2. 02

    Get ready for it

    Work through the practice questions on the assessment's page, or complete the sessions your package names - all of them, or the minimum the mentor set.

  3. 03

    Sit it, timed and monitored

    On a laptop or desktop, against the clock. Tab changes and paste attempts are recorded while it is open, and a retake waits the days the assessment states.

  4. 04

    Pass, and get a page - not a file

    The credential gets a code in the form RQ-7K4M-9XPT-2WHB-Y6QN and a public verification page. Anyone with the link can open it without an account.

Why it counts

Worth having because you can fail it.

Two of these four are restrictions. That is deliberate.

  • It is a link, not a file

    The credential lives at a public URL. Nobody has to trust a PDF you emailed them, and you cannot lose it. Re-opening the page is the check.

  • The exam is timed and monitored

    It runs on a laptop or desktop, against a clock. Tab changes and paste attempts are recorded as events while the attempt is open.

  • Limit

    A fixed number of attempts

    Each assessment states its attempts - between one and five - and a wait of days before a retake. Passing ends it. More than that and it stops being an assessment and starts being a quiz you grind.

  • Limit

    You can fail it

    A failed attempt returns nothing. You pay for the chance to sit it, not for the certificate - and a credential nobody can fail is not worth carrying.

It is an assessment written by Revquix or by a mentor, and issued through Revquix. It says you passed that exam, and nothing wider.
Not a signed document.
The Open Badges 3.0 export is a hosted credential: it is checked by fetching its public page, not by verifying a signature offline.

Assessments are available to members aged 18 and over.

Failing does not return the price of a package. A sitting you paid for is refundable until you start it, and never after.

  • 01What is Revquix Verified?

    A credential issued when you pass a Revquix assessment - either an open assessment you sit on its own, or the one at the end of a certified mentorship package. It gets a code in the form RQ-7K4M-9XPT-2WHB-Y6QN and a public page anyone can open without an account.

  • 02What is the difference between an open assessment and a certified programme?

    An open assessment is sat on its own: you prepare, sit it on a laptop, and pass or fail. A certified programme is a mentorship package that ends in an assessment its mentor wrote; you complete the sessions the listing names, then sit it. Both end in the same kind of credential, and its page says which route it was earned through.

  • 03Which mentorship services can end in a certificate?

    Packages, and only packages. A single 1:1 call or mock interview cannot carry one - the capability is set on the package service type alone. Open assessments are the other route, and need no package at all.

  • 04Does it cost anything to sit an open assessment?

    Its page says before you start. A free one says it is free to sit; where a sitting is sold, the page shows the price in credits or links to the mentor's service that sells it. A paid sitting is refundable until you start it.

  • 05How does an employer check it?

    They open the link. The verification page is public and needs no account, and re-fetching it is the check - if a credential were ever revoked, the page would say so.

  • 06Can I download the certificate?

    Yes. Every credential has its own certificate page with a PDF of the sheet shown above, and the specimen on this page downloads the same document. A withdrawn credential still shows its record and its certificate, but offers no file - a saved PDF travels with no way for its reader to learn it was pulled.

  • 07How many attempts do I get?

    Each assessment sets its own number, between one and five, and it is shown before you buy and again before you start. After a failed attempt the next one waits a few days - a week unless the assessment says otherwise. Passing ends it.

  • 08Is the assessment monitored?

    Yes. It is timed, runs on a laptop or desktop, and tab changes and paste attempts are recorded as events while it is open.

  • 09Is the certificate cryptographically signed?

    No. The Open Badges 3.0 export does not carry a proof, so it is a hosted credential verified by fetching its page rather than a signed one that can be verified offline. We would rather say that than imply otherwise.

  • 10Who can sit an assessment?

    Members aged 18 and over, on a laptop or desktop. An open assessment needs nothing else; a programme's assessment opens once you have completed the sessions its listing names - all of them, or the minimum the mentor set.
