Terms of Service
Effective Date: June 28, 2026 | Last Updated: September 13, 2026
Welcome to Revquix. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Revquix website at https://www.revquix.comand the Revquix platform, including the mentorship & mock-interview marketplace, the coding workspace, the diagram and document tools, the blog, and all related services, features, and content (collectively, the “Platform” or “Services”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
Several subjects are dealt with in more detail in the documents listed in Section 29. Each of those forms part of these Terms, and where one of them covers a subject in more detail than these Terms do, that document governs that subject.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Platform, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age(matching the definition of a child under India's DPDP Act, 2023), have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be legally bound by them. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Description of Services
Revquix is a career platform for professionals and freshers, everything between applying for a role and signing an offer:
- Mentorship & career services - a marketplace for 1:1 mentor calls, live mock interviews, session packages, human-reviewed resume and LinkedIn rewrites, and fixed-scope service orders (“Offers”).
- Certifications - timed, monitored assessments that some mentorship packages end in, each issuing a credential with a public verification page.
- Coding & practice - an in-browser code runner, practice problems and ordered tracks, and a multi-file project workspace with an AI assistant and GitHub push.
- Career tools - free and credit-metered resume, ATS, salary, and other career tools.
- Learn - a public tech blog, a documentation library, and a diagramming canvas.
3. The Revquix Marketplace (Intermediary Role)
For mentorship sessions, packages and offer orders, Revquix operates a marketplace connecting users seeking guidance (“Mentees”) with independent providers (“Mentors” / reviewers). In this capacity Revquix acts as an intermediary and a limited payment-collection agent. The mentoring or review service is provided by the Mentor, not by Revquix. We are not a party to the advice given in a session and do not guarantee any particular outcome (for example, a job offer). We facilitate discovery, booking, payment, scheduling, and dispute handling.
4. Mentor Terms
By becoming a Mentor (or reviewer) you agree that:
- You provide accurate identity, profile, qualification, and payout (bank / UPI) details.
- You set your prices within the Platform's allowed range, in INR or USD.
- Revquix retains a platform commission of 10% of your listed price; the remainder is paid out to your registered account on the Platform's payout schedule. The commission that applies to a booking is fixed at the moment the buyer pays and is recorded on that order, so a later change to our rate does not reach a booking already made.
- Buyers separately pay a buyer platform fee on top of your listed price (Section 17). That fee is ours, not yours: it is added to what the buyer pays rather than deducted from what you are paid, and it does not change your payout.
- A discount code reduces your earnings, not ours alone. Coupons - including codes Revquix itself issues - are applied to your price before our commission is calculated, so the discount comes out of your share. Section 17 states this in full, and your service editor shows the discounted figure beside the full-price one before you publish.
- Payouts may be subject to any tax withholding required by applicable law, and you are responsible for your own taxes.
- You will honour bookings, attend on time, deliver feedback within the required deadlines, and follow the Mentor Code of Conduct (incorporated by reference).
- Your reliability as a provider is measured and affects where you appear in the marketplace. How that measure is calculated, and what it is calculated from, is set out in the Mentor Code of Conduct.
- Repeated cancellations, no-shows, or conduct violations may reduce your standing or result in removal from the marketplace.
5. Bookings, Attendance & Sessions
- Cancellations and refunds follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Sessions are held in a Revquix-hosted Google Meet room that we create for the booking. There is no other session location: a mentor cannot substitute their own conferencing link, and neither party should arrange one. If the room cannot be created automatically we may ask the mentor to supply a link as a rescue, and if a booking never receives a working link it is cancelled and refunded in full.
- Do not record a session without the other party's explicit consent. Mock-interview feedback and scores are shared with the Mentee they concern.
- Joining is through the Join button on your booking. That is the only tracked door into the room, and it is what produces the attendance record a dispute is decided on - reaching the room another way may leave you recorded as absent.
- Confirm attendance when prompted. If neither party responds, a booking auto-completes after the confirmation window shown on it. Unconfirmed or disputed sessions are handled under Section 7.
- Where your booking allows rescheduling, the notice required and the number of moves you get are fixed on the booking at purchase and shown on it. A mentor moving the session does not use up your allowance.
6. Session Packages
A package is a number of sessions with one mentor, bought together and redeemed one at a time. Because it has no single start time, a package is not governed by a countdown to a session - it is governed by the rules in this section and in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Validity. Every package carries a validity period, shown before you buy and capped at 180 days. Sessions are redeemed within it.
- Cancelling. A package with no sessions redeemed can be cancelled for a full refund. Once you redeem one session it can no longer be cancelled as a whole - the sessions you have left stay yours to book until expiry, and an individual scheduled session can still be cancelled from its own booking.
- The clock pauses when the mentor has no time available. For each day on which your mentor publishes no bookable slot for the service your package covers, your package's expiry is pushed out by a day. You cannot lose time to a mentor who has stopped offering appointments.
- If those days accumulate, we escalate on your behalf, automatically. At 3 such days we prompt the mentor; at 7 we pause new sales of that service and record the failure against the mentor; at 14 you get a one-click refund of every session you have not used - in full, without an admin queue and without having to negotiate. That right is described again in the Refund Policy.
- What happens to sessions left over at expiry depends on whose fault it was. If the mentor kept time available throughout and you simply did not book, the unused sessions lapse and the mentor keeps that portion - the time was held for you and not sold to anyone else. If any day was recorded against the mentor for having no availability, the unused value is treated as yours and refunded, whatever the general rule would have said. We tell you which outcome applied.
- We send reminders before a package expires. They are a courtesy, not a condition - the rules above apply whether or not a reminder reaches you.
7. Disputes About a Session or Order
If a session or order does not happen as expected, either party may raise a dispute from their dashboard. The deadlines are:
- You have 14 days after a booking closes to raise a dispute.
- We respond within 24 hours of a dispute being raised.
- We aim to decide within 72 hours.
- You have 72 hours to appeal a decision. A dispute may be reopened once; after that the decision stands.
We review the attendance record, the join ledger and any evidence either party provides. The outcome may include a full or partial refund and a corresponding payout adjustment, and the mentor's payout for the session is held while the dispute is open. Some clear-cut cases are decided mechanically rather than by a person - for example, a session both parties were demonstrably present in together. Our decision on a platform dispute is final for the purpose of refunds and payouts. Nothing in this section limits any right you have to go to a consumer forum or a court.
8. User Accounts & Account Security
Some features require an account. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- All activities that occur under your account.
- Notifying us immediately at [email protected] of any unauthorised use of your account.
If you turn on two-factor authentication, you are responsible for keeping your recovery codes. They are shown to you once, they are the way back in when you lose your authenticator, and we cannot recover them for you - restoring access without them requires identity checks and may not always be possible. Store them somewhere other than the device that generates your codes.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive behaviour.
9. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of the content you create on the Platform - blog posts, comments, profile data, diagrams, code and project files, snippets, messages and everything else you author. You grant Revquix a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, back up, display, reproduce and distribute that content for the purpose of operating, securing and promoting the Platform, and to the extent needed to provide the features you use. You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights to post it. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
What is and is not acceptable to post - in articles, comments, profiles, reviews, messages and anything you make public - is set out in our Community Guidelines, which form part of these Terms.
10. Public Content, Sharing, Forking & Embedding
Some things you create can be shared beyond your account. Where you choose to share, the licence in Section 9 extends only as far as that choice, and no further:
- Unlistedmeans anyone holding the link can open it. It is not indexed and not listed, but a link can be forwarded - treat unlisted as “anyone who is given the link”, not as private.
- Public means it may be listed, indexed by search engines, previewed on other sites, and shown with an automatically generated preview image that may include its title and your name or username.
- Forking. Where you publish a diagram publicly, other users may take a copy and build on it. Their copy is theirs to edit; it does not change or delete yours, and it carries no ongoing rights over your original. If you do not want your work copied, do not publish it publicly.
- Embedding. Public diagrams, snippets and profiles can be embedded in pages outside Revquix. An embedded item is served from Revquix and reflects the current version, so an update reaches every page showing it.
- You can withdraw sharing. Making something private again stops us serving it - new visitors, embeds and previews all break. It cannot recall copies, forks, screenshots, caches or search engine snapshots that already exist. This is a property of publishing, not a limitation of our systems.
Publishing does not transfer ownership. You keep it, and you may withdraw the sharing at any time, subject to the paragraph above.
11. Public Profiles & People Search
If you make your profile public, it is visible at /u/<username> and discoverable via people search. You may make your profile private in your settings. You must not scrape, harvest, bulk-download, or build a competing database from Platform profiles, or use automated means to access the Platform beyond what our interfaces allow.
12. Credits
Credits are the unit some Platform features - chiefly the career and resume tools - are metered in. They are a licence to use those features. They are not money, not a stored-value or prepaid payment instrument, not transferable between accounts, and carry no cash value; they cannot be withdrawn, sold or exchanged for cash. Credits you buy do not expire while your account is open, and unspent credits end with the account.
The full rules - how credits are granted, bought, earned and spent, the caps and clawback that apply to earned credits, our right to correct a balance, the referral programme and the grounds on which a referral reward is held or refused - are in Credits & Referrals, which forms part of these Terms. The current prices, grants and allowances are shown on the Credits screen in your dashboard, which is authoritative; we deliberately do not restate them here, where they would go stale.
13. Running Code on Our Infrastructure
The Platform lets you write, store and execute code on Revquix infrastructure. That facility is offered subject to these Terms and to our Acceptable Use Policy, whose Section 2 is specifically about the runtime and is the controlling statement of what you may and may not run.
- Execution is metered. Daily run allowances apply and are lower for anonymous visitors than for signed-in users. Stored projects are subject to limits on the number of files, the size of a file and the total size of a project, and to caps on how much run history and how many restore points we keep. The current figures are shown in the product; hitting a limit stops you until it resets and is not itself a breach of these Terms.
- Your programs run in an isolated sandbox with networking disabled. Do not rely on network access, persistent local state between runs, or any particular execution environment - all of them may change.
- The runner is for writing, learning and testing code. It is not hosting, not a job runner, not a proxy and not a file store, and it carries no availability or durability commitment.
- We may throttle, suspend or withdraw access to the runner - for your account or generally - where use threatens the service or breaches the Acceptable Use Policy, and we may do so immediately where the risk warrants it.
- Keep your own copy of anything you care about. Projects, snippets, run history and restore points are working storage, not a backup service.
14. AI Features
Parts of the Platform use AI models, including models operated by a third party outside Revquix. Our AI Policy states which features use AI, which provider processes what, and - importantly - what is redacted before it leaves our servers and what is not. It forms part of these Terms. In particular:
- AI output can be wrong. It is generated text, not verified fact, and not professional, legal, financial, medical or career advice. Review it before you rely on it, and do not treat a score, a review or a suggestion as a decision about you.
- You are responsible for what you submit. Only submit content you have the right to share. Source code you send to an AI action is sent as written and is not redacted - do not put credentials, keys or confidential third-party material in a file and then run an AI action on it. If you already have, rotate the credential.
- As between you and Revquix, you may use the output of an AI feature on your own work. We make no representation that output is original or that it does not resemble output generated for someone else.
15. Intellectual Property
15.1 Revquix Property
All Platform content created by Revquix - including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software - is the property of Revquix or its suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written consent. This does not apply to content you or other users create (see Sections 9 and 10).
15.2 Feedback
Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by Revquix without any obligation to compensate you.
16. Acceptable Use
Our Acceptable Use Policy is the full statement of what you may and may not do on the Platform - including the rules that apply when you run code on our infrastructure, store and share files, or use the AI features. It forms part of these Terms and is incorporated by reference. In summary, you agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
- Transmit unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material (spam).
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its systems.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform.
- Scrape, crawl, or otherwise harvest data from the Platform without written permission.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform.
- Impersonate Revquix, its staff, mentors, or other users.
17. Fees, Prices & What You Pay
Two separate fees exist and they work in opposite directions. Both are shown before you commit.
17.1 The buyer platform fee (added to what you pay)
Marketplace purchases carry a buyer platform fee, added on top of the price the provider lists: in INR, a flat ₹10 on orders below ₹100 and otherwise 10%; in USD, a flat $0.15 on orders below $1.00 and otherwise 10%. It is shown to you at checkout before you pay, it is Revquix's fee rather than the provider's, and it is refunded in the same proportion as any refund you receive - a 50% refund returns 50% of the fee. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
17.2 The mentor commission (deducted from what the provider is paid)
Revquix retains a commission of 10%of the provider's listed price. It comes out of the provider's share and does not change what the buyer pays. Both the commission and the buyer fee are fixed on the order at the moment of payment, so a later change to our rates cannot reach a purchase already made.
17.3 Discount codes come out of the provider's share
When a coupon is applied, the discount is taken off the provider's price beforeour commission is calculated. The provider therefore funds the discount and Revquix's own share shrinks with it. This is true of promotional codes issued by Revquix as well as codes a mentor creates; we do not reimburse a provider for a platform-issued code. On a package, the discounted amount is what is divided across the sessions, so it is carried for the life of the package.
17.4 Currency and the USD price
Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) or US Dollars (USD) depending on the offering and your context. USD prices are derived from our INR prices and carry a small buffer (currently 4%) so that a published price does not move with day-to-day exchange-rate noise. The buffer is applied to the price you browse as well as the price you are charged, so the figure you see is never lower than the figure you pay.
17.5 Tax
No GST is currently added to either the buyer platform fee or the mentor commission. If tax becomes payable on a purchase it will be shown at checkout and on your receipt before you pay.
18. Payment Terms
- Payments are processed by Razorpay when you are charged in INR and by PayPal when you are charged in USD. Neither we nor the Platform stores full card details.
- A checkout holds the provider's time only briefly. If you do not complete payment within the countdown shown, the slot is released and you will need to start again.
- For refund eligibility, see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
19. Taxes & Receipts
Prices are shown in INR or USD. Any taxes that apply to your purchase will be shown at checkout and reflected on the receipt issued for your purchase. You are responsible for any taxes applicable to you in your own jurisdiction.
20. Intermediary Status & Grievance Redressal
Revquix is an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000. We host third-party content but do not author it, and we operate in accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. To report unlawful content or raise a grievance, contact our Grievance Officer, Lata Parihar, at [email protected] (see also our Privacy Policy, Section 10). We acknowledge grievances within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
21. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential all non-public information disclosed during an engagement (“Confidential Information”) and to use it solely for the purposes of that engagement. This obligation survives termination for a period of two (2) years.
22. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. REVQUIX DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES, NOR DOES IT GUARANTEE ANY OUTCOME FROM A MENTORSHIP SESSION, THE CORRECTNESS OF AI-GENERATED OUTPUT, OR THE AVAILABILITY OR DURABILITY OF THE CODE RUNTIME.
23. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, REVQUIX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. IN NO EVENT SHALL REVQUIX'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SERVICES IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED.
24. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Revquix and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Platform.
25. Termination, Your Data & Your Credits
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at our discretion for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may close your account and request deletion of your data at any time from Settings → Privacy & Data or by emailing [email protected], subject to records we are required to retain by law.
On closure, whoever initiates it: bookings already paid for are settled under the Refund & Cancellation Policyrather than cancelled without settlement; a mentor's payouts for completed, undisputed sessions are still paid; and unspent credits end with the account - they have no cash value, so there is nothing to pay out and they cannot be moved elsewhere. If we suspend an account while we investigate, credits are frozen rather than removed and return with the account. See Credits & Referrals, Section 8.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination - including intellectual property, confidentiality, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitation of liability - will survive.
26. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India. This does not remove any right you have to bring a complaint before a consumer forum available to you.
27. Changes to These Terms
Revquix may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the “Last Updated” date. Where a change is material - in particular a change to fees, to refund entitlement, or to how we handle your content - we will tell you in-product or by email and give you notice before it takes effect, so that you can review it and, if you do not accept it, stop using the Platform and close your account without penalty. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of it.
Terms that were fixed on a purchase - the refund tiers, the commission and the buyer fee - are not changed by a later revision of this page. They are recorded on the order and continue to govern it.
28. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect, and the invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
29. Entire Agreement & Incorporated Documents
These Terms, together with the documents below - each of which forms part of this agreement and is incorporated by reference - constitute the entire agreement between you and Revquix with respect to the subject matter herein, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings:
- Privacy Policy, and the Sub-processor list it refers to
- Cookie Policy
- Refund & Cancellation Policy
- Acceptable Use Policy
- Community Guidelines
- AI Policy
- Credits & Referrals
- Mentor Code of Conduct - mentors only
Where one of those documents deals with a subject in more detail than these Terms do, that document governs that subject.
