Legal changelog
Every published change to the documents listed on our legal index.
We keep this because “last updated” on its own tells you that something changed and not what. A date with no diff is not a change history.
An entry marked material changed what you are bound to - a fee, a refund entitlement, how we handle your content. Those are notified in-product or by email, and members are asked to accept them. Everything else is a correction, a clarification, or new wording for an obligation that already existed.
Terms fixed on a purchase you have already made - the refund tiers, the commission, the buyer fee - are not changed by anything on this page. They are recorded on the order and continue to govern it.

Removed descriptions of agency, hiring and corporate-training services Revquix no longer offers, and corrected the Mentor Code of Conduct to match how sessions, packages, messaging and the reliability score work today.

- Rewrote what the Terms describe Revquix as providing, removing the custom software, mobile app, marketing and corporate-training services ("Build") and the candidate sourcing and Interview-as-a-Service offering ("Hire"), neither of which the Platform currently sells.
- Removed the Terms' Statement of Work (SOW) clauses: the reference in the services description, the client work-product intellectual-property clause, the agency payment-terms bullet, and the mention of an SOW forming part of the agreement.
- Rewrote the Privacy Policy's description of Revquix from "a software & digital-marketing agency, a tech hiring & interview consultancy" to the career platform it operates today, and removed "Business and hiring clients" as a class of person the policy applies to. Revquix holds no personal data from a past agency or hiring-client engagement.
- Removed the Refund Policy's "Agency, hiring & corporate services" section, which pointed to a signed Statement of Work for custom engagements; the sections after it are renumbered.
- Mentor Code: replaced the retired Hourly Session (always 60 minutes, with its own feedback form) with 1:1 calls and mock interviews that run for the duration the mentor sets, and removed the 5- and 10-minute lateness rules the platform does not apply. A join at any point before the scheduled end is attendance.
- Mentor Code: stated that the session room opens 10 minutes before the start and closes at the scheduled end, when a mentor may change the room link, and that a booking still without a working link about 30 minutes before it starts is cancelled and refunded automatically.
- Mentor Code: described how attendance is decided after a session, including the no-show dispute that opens automatically when the learner joined and the mentor did not, and what an unanswered dispute leads to.
- Mentor Code: a mock interview report is due within the deadline set on the service, counted from when the booking completes; removed the section narratives and action plan the report does not contain, and the feedback obligation for 1:1 calls, which carry none.
- Mentor Code: days without availability on a package are counted as a run that resets when bookable time is offered again; a paused service stays paused until the mentor resumes it; the day-14 refund is of the value the learner paid and stays available once unlocked; unused sessions go back to the learner at expiry only after 3 or more such days.
- Mentor Code: a mentor and a learner share one Messages thread, open while any booking or dispute between them is live and for 14 days after; links to outside booking tools are blocked; Revquix can read threads, and every access is logged.
- Mentor Code: replaced slot opening and the 48-hour lead time with the weekly availability and booking notice period the product uses, and stated how payouts are released and when Revquix may hold or adjust one.
- Mentor Code: removed the statements that the Fair and At Risk bands carry a ranking penalty and that every past reliability score is kept; stated how the score is used in mentor search and when it is recalculated.
- Mentor Code: stated that the Community Guidelines and Acceptable Use Policy apply to mentors as to every member.

A full review of the legal estate. Five published statements were corrected, four new documents were added, and the parts of the product that had no legal coverage at all now have it.

- Corrected the platform commission. It is 10%, not the 20% the Terms had said, and there is separately a buyer platform fee that the Terms had never mentioned at all.
- Corrected the refund ladder. The page published only the retired 100/75/50 table; the ladder for a 1:1 call booked today is 90/70/50 and is now published as such, alongside the legacy one.
- Removed the Google Calendar integration from the Privacy Policy. It was withdrawn from the product in August and the page still described the scope it used to request.
- Named PayPal as a payment processor. It has been live on the USD rail and appeared on no legal page.
- Corrected what our encryption protects: Meet credentials and GitHub tokens, not the calendar tokens that no longer exist.
- Moved every vendor to a single Sub-processor list, so adding one no longer re-versions the whole Privacy Policy.
- Disclosed that source code sent to an AI action is not redacted, unlike resume text, which is.
- Disclosed the GitHub connection and the repository scopes it can hold.
- Disclosed search-query logging and profile impressions, which the old wording covered only as “pages visited”.
- Added a section for people who receive email from us and have no Revquix account.
- Published an Acceptable Use Policy, including the rules for running code on our infrastructure - which every user could do, under no published rules at all.
- Published Credits & Referrals, including the grounds on which a referral reward is held or refused.
- Published an AI Policy and Community Guidelines.
- Published the session package rules: the 180-day cap, the clock that pauses when a mentor has no availability, the escalation at 3, 7 and 14 days, and what happens to unused sessions at expiry.
- Published the real dispute deadlines - 14 days to raise, 24 hours to a first response, 72 hours to a decision, 72 hours to appeal - replacing “the time window shown there”.
- Published that a discount code is funded from the mentor's share, including codes Revquix itself issues.
- Corrected the Mentor Code of Conduct: a mentor's payout is reduced in proportion to a refund rather than forfeited, and the appeal window is 72 hours rather than the 7 days the page had promised.
- Corrected the refund settlement time to 5–7 working days, matching what the product tells you at the moment of refund.
- Rewrote what the data export covers. It now includes your credit ledger, referrals, resume documents, coding projects and snippets, Canvas boards, mentor messages, support tickets, job applications, badges, payouts, your GitHub connection and your record of accepted terms - and the archive states its own limits inside itself rather than leaving you to find them here.
- Stated that your GitHub access token is never included in an export, and that deleting your account removes our copy of it - which it previously did not.
- Stated what account deletion actually erases, including Canvas boards and their files, which had never been covered.
