Creator Terms for the Component Studio

Effective Date: October 25, 2026  |  Last Updated: October 25, 2026 |  Version you accept in the Studio: studio-terms-v1

These terms apply when you submit a block from the Revquix Component Studio, or list one of your sites as a template, as a Revquix Sites creator. They add to the Terms of Service (in particular Section 13A, Revquix Sites), which still apply. You accept them the first time you submit a block or list a template, and the version you accepted is recorded with it.

1. What you give Revquix

When you submit a block, you give Revquix a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable licence to use, copy, host, change, adapt, combine with other code, publish and distribute your block (its code, text and any design in it), and to let Revquix members use it on their sites, including after you stop being a creator. Revquix may also let others use it under these same terms.

When you list a template, you give Revquix the same licence over the template: the layout, design and sample content copied from your site. Members who start a site from it may use, change and publish their copy as their own, and Revquix may show it in the template catalogue and on a public demo site.

You keep the copyright in your block and your template. You can use your own work anywhere else you like.

A block you submit is opened as a pull request in Revquix's private code repository on GitHub, so its files and your username and display name become part of that repository's history.

2. Your work must be yours to give

You promise that:

3. What a block may not do

A block must follow the Studio's block rules. In particular it must not:

4. Review and removal

Every block is reviewed before members can use it, and Revquix may accept, ask you to change, or reject a block for any reason. A template is listed once it passes our automated checks, and staff may ask you to change it or unlist it at any time. Revquix may change a block (for example to fix a bug or a security problem) and may remove a block or a template from the Studio, the editor, the catalogue or members' sites at any time, including after it was approved or listed. Members who already started a site from a template keep their copy.

5. Credit

Revquix shows your username as the creator of your block or template where it reasonably can. Revquix does not pay for blocks: there are no paid blocks under these terms, and if paid blocks are introduced, separate terms will apply.

6. Paid templates

You may set a price in credits for a template you list, up to the maximum the Studio shows. Members buy it with their credits under Credits & Referrals. When a member buys your template:

The share, the hold, the minimum and your maximum price are shown in the Studio and on your Earnings page, which are authoritative; we deliberately do not restate them here, where they would go stale.

7. Changes to these terms

Revquix may update these terms. A new version applies to blocks you submit and templates you list after you accept it, and the Studio asks you to accept it before your next submission. Every published revision is listed in the legal changelog.
