Credits & Referrals

Effective Date: September 4, 2026  |  Last Updated: September 4, 2026

Credits are what the AI-powered tools on Revquix run on. This page explains what a credit is, how you get one, what can happen to it, and the rules of the referral programme. It forms part of our Terms of Service and is incorporated into them by reference.

Current amounts are shown in the product, not here. Prices, grants, earn rates, caps and free daily allowances are all displayed on your Credits screen and at the point you use a tool. Writing them into this page would guarantee that one of the two is out of date; the rules below are what does not change from week to week.

1. What a credit is - and is not

A credit is a licence to use a paid feature on Revquix. It is a unit of access we grant you, and nothing more.

2. How you get credits

Separately from credits, most tools include a free daily allowance that resets every day and costs nothing. Running a tool within that allowance does not touch your balance.

3. Buying credits

4. Credits you bought do not expire

Credits you have paid for do not expire while your account is open. We are stating that as a commitment, not describing a current setting.

A pass, where offered, works differently and we say so at the point of sale: a pass covers the cost of the tools it applies to for a fixed window, and then ends. It never mints credits, so a pass running out does not take anything off your balance - it simply stops covering the charge.

5. Earning credits

You can earn credits by doing things that make Revquix more useful to other people - referring someone, publishing a substantial article, reviewing a mentor you actually worked with, completing a paid session, or keeping up a streak of activity. The list, the rates and the caps are on your Credits screen.

Three rules apply to all of it:

6. Referrals

You can invite people to Revquix with your personal link. When someone signs up through it and starts using the Platform, you both receive credits.

6.1 The rules

6.2 When a referral is held or refused

This is the part people most deserve to have in writing, because it decides whether you get paid. We run automated checks on every referral. A referral may be held for review or refused where the signals suggest it is not a real, separate person:

A shared internet connection is a reason for us to look, not a verdict. Hostels, campuses, offices and shared mobile networks put many genuine people behind one address, and we do not refuse a referral on that alone. A held referral goes to a person, not a script.

If a referral of yours was held or refused and you believe it was genuine, write to [email protected] and we will look again. We may also reverse rewards already granted if we later find the referral was not genuine.

7. Corrections and adjustments

We may add or remove credits from an account to correct an error, to reverse credits obtained in breach of these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, or as a goodwill gesture. Adjustments are recorded in your credit history with a reason, and adjustments made by our staff are capped and audited internally.

We may change prices, grants, earn rates, caps and free allowances. Changes apply going forward - we will not retrospectively remove credits you have already been granted because a rate changed.

8. If your account closes

9. Changes

We may update this page as the credit system changes. We will revise the “Last Updated” date, and material changes will be notified in-product or by email.
