# Your order and deliverables

## The states

| Status                    | What it means                                       |
| ------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------- |
| **Pending Payment**       | Placed, not paid. Nothing is running.               |
| **Confirmed**             | Paid and queued. Your delivery deadline is now set. |
| **In Progress**           | Somebody has picked it up and started.              |
| **Completed**             | The work is done and your files are on the order.   |
| **Cancelled by You**      | You cancelled while it was Confirmed.               |
| **Cancelled by Provider** | We cancelled it. Always a full refund.              |
| **Payment Failed**        | The payment did not go through.                     |
| **Expired**               | Left unpaid too long.                               |

An unpaid order does not sit around forever - it expires after **30 minutes**, and after that you
start again from the catalogue. Nothing is charged and nothing is held.

## When you can cancel

> **Warning** - Only while the order is Confirmed
>
> The moment a reviewer starts work, the order becomes In Progress and **you can no longer cancel
> it**. There is no cancel button after that point, and this catches people out - the window is
> between paying and somebody picking the order up, which on a busy day can be short.
>
> If something is wrong with an In Progress order, use the comment thread or raise a ticket. We can
> still cancel it from our side, and when we do it is a full refund.

## Talking to the reviewer

Every order has a comment thread, and it opens as soon as the order is confirmed. Use it for
anything the intake form did not cover: a correction, a link, a change of target role.

> **Warning** - The thread closes two days after the order completes
>
> While the order is open, the thread stays open indefinitely. Completing the order resets it to a
> **two-day** window, after which it is read-only.
>
> So the two days after delivery are the time to ask about the work. Once that window shuts, a
> follow-up needs a support ticket instead - see [raising a ticket](https://www.revquix.com/docs/support/raising-a-ticket).

## The deliverables

The finished work is attached to the order as files. You may see files appear while the order is
still In Progress - a reviewer can upload as they go, so a file arriving is not the same as the
order being finished. Wait for Completed before assuming you have everything.

Deliverables come back as PDFs, Word documents, images, a zip, a slide deck or an MP4, depending on
the service.

> **Note** - Download links are generated fresh, and expire
>
> The Download button mints a link that is valid for about **an hour**. That is why you cannot bookmark
> or share one - come back to the order and press Download again, which works for as long as the order
> exists. The files are not emailed to you.

## What we do not do

- **No revisions beyond what you bought.** A revision round is an add-on on most services, chosen at
  purchase. Asking for one in the comment thread is not the same as having bought one.
- **No scheduled call**, unless a call add-on was part of the order.

## Once it is completed

You have **48 hours** to rate it - see [rating an offer](https://www.revquix.com/docs/services/rating-an-offer). The order and its files
stay on your account after that; only the rating and the comment thread are time-limited.
