# The intake form

**If you are stuck on the third step of an order**, or you want to know what you will be asked
before you start, this is the page.

The intake form is how the reviewer learns what you actually want. Nobody calls you to clarify, so
this form is the whole brief - a thin one produces a generic result, and that is the commonest
avoidable disappointment with an offer.

## Every service asks something different

The questions are set per service, so the form on Resume Review is not the form on Offer &
Compensation Letter Review. Resume Review, for example, asks eight questions, four of them required:

The optional ones are optional in the sense that the form will submit without them, not in the
sense that they do not matter. A target job description is the single most useful thing you can
paste into a resume order.

## Attaching a file

Some services accept a file - normally your current resume or a document to be reviewed.

- **10 MB per file.**
- **PDF, Word (.docx), JPEG, PNG and WebP.**

A PDF is the safest choice: it is what the reviewer opens and what the deliverable usually comes
back as.

> **Warning** - Signing in with Google or GitHub mid-form drops your attachment
>
> If you reach the form signed out and then sign in with a social provider, the browser leaves
> Revquix and comes back. Everything you typed is restored - your plan, add-ons, coupon and answers,
> and you land back on the step you left. **Files are the exception.** A file cannot be carried
> across that trip by any browser, so the form asks you to attach it again.
>
> Signing in _before_ you start the order avoids this entirely.

## You cannot edit it after you pay

The form is submitted with the order. There is no edit screen afterwards, because a reviewer may
already be working from it.

If you left something out, use the order's comment thread instead - it is open from the moment the

## What the reviewer sees

Your answers, your attachment, and the plan and add-ons you bought. Nothing else from your account
is pulled in automatically - a reviewer does not see your Revquix resume, your projects or your
profile unless you point them at it.
