# Refunds on an offer > The cancellation ladder for a fixed-scope order, why it runs from your delivery deadline, not purchase time, and why a one-day service never refunds in full. This page is only about fixed-scope > orders bought from [services and offers](https://www.revquix.com/offers). ## You can only cancel while it is Confirmed Once a reviewer starts, the order is In Progress and self-service cancellation is gone. See [your order and deliverables](https://www.revquix.com/docs/services/your-order-and-deliverables). ## The ladder What you get back depends on **how much of your delivery time is left** at the moment you cancel - not on how long ago you bought it. | Time left before your delivery deadline | You get back | | --------------------------------------- | ------------ | | 72 hours or more | 100% | | 48 hours or more | 75% | | 24 hours or more | 50% | | Less than 24 hours | 25% | Your delivery deadline is set when the payment is captured: it is that moment plus your plan's delivery time. A 3-day plan bought at noon on Monday is due at noon on Thursday. ## Why a fast plan cannot return everything This is the part worth reading twice, because it is counter-intuitive. The ladder is measured against a deadline that is _closer_ on a faster plan. So the top tier is unreachable on a short one - not because of anything you did, but because the deadline was never 72 hours away. > **Warning** - A one-day service refunds at most 50%, even if you cancel immediately > > Offer & Compensation Letter Review delivers in 24 hours. Buy it and cancel a minute later and there > are 24 hours left, which is the 50% tier. There is no moment at which that order is a 100% refund. > > A 4-day plan is the opposite: right after paying there are 96 hours left, so an immediate change of > mind returns everything. The practical rule: **on a same-day service, be sure before you pay.** On a multi-day service you have real room to change your mind, and it shrinks as the deadline approaches. ## When we cancel If Revquix cancels your order - we cannot staff it, the brief is not something we can deliver, or something has gone wrong at our end - you get **100% back regardless of timing**. The ladder above only applies to cancellations you start. That also applies to an In Progress order. If an order has gone wrong after work started, the route is a ticket, not a cancel button. ## Where the money goes Back to whatever you paid with, through the same provider. Timing is the bank's, not ours, and it is the same process described in [refunds](https://www.revquix.com/docs/payments/refunds) - a refund can be issued and still take days to appear. A coupon discount is not refunded as cash. You are refunded a share of what you actually paid, so a 50% tier on a discounted order returns half of the discounted amount. > **Note** - Add-ons refund with the order, not separately > > There is no way to cancel one add-on and keep the rest.
