Knowing which dimension a finding came from is what tells you whether it is a five-minute fix or a
rewrite.

## Parseability

Whether an applicant tracking system can read your file at all - layout, fonts, encryption, and
whether your contact details are in the text flow rather than a header.

## Structure and completeness

Whether the sections a recruiter and a parser both expect are present, complete, and in a
conventional order.

Usually the fastest dimension to improve - it is about what exists, not how well it is written.

## Impact and quantification

Whether your bullets state outcomes with numbers, or only describe duties.

This is where most resumes lose the most, and where the work is real writing rather than

## Skill coverage

Whether the skills you claim are backed by a bullet that demonstrates them.

> A skill can be listed in your resume and still count as unevidenced. Adding "Kubernetes" to a skills
> list does nothing for this dimension; a bullet describing what you did with it does. This is the

## Timeline integrity

Whether your dates are consistent, in order, and free of unexplained gaps.

Mostly mechanical, and worth fixing precisely because a reader assumes the worst about a gap you
have not explained.

## Language hygiene

Spelling, passive voice, clichés, first-person pronouns, bullet length - the things that make a
resume read as filler.

Low weight, high ease. Rarely the reason you were rejected; often the reason you were not taken
seriously.

## Career trajectory and scope

Whether your resume shows a career going somewhere - progression, tenure that holds, and the size of
what you have owned.

Its weight rises sharply with experience. On a fresher's resume it is a small check; on a
leadership resume it is joint-heaviest.

## Screening risk

Things that get a resume filtered or discounted for reasons that have nothing to do with how good
you are - liabilities, ambiguities and unforced errors.
