The Resume Builder is **free**. Building, editing, designing and exporting cost nothing and are not
limited by credits, and you can keep up to **10 resumes** in your account.

Some of the _analysis_ around it is paid, and this page is the honest map of which is which.

## The five rooms

A resume opens into rooms rather than one long form:

## How many resumes you can keep

**Ten.** That is a storage bound, not a plan limit - there is no version that raises it, and no way
to buy more.

Ten is comfortably above what per-application tailoring needs, because tailoring is done by
duplicating a resume and hiding what does not apply, then pruning as you go. If you are at the
limit, delete the ones for jobs that have closed - export anything you actually sent first, because
that is the version you will be interviewed against.

## Where to start

1. **Bring in what you have.** Import a PDF or DOCX, or pull from LinkedIn - see [starting your resume](https://www.revquix.com/docs/resume/building-and-exporting).
2. **Fix the content before the design.** A good template cannot rescue vague bullets, and the
   checklist in **Improve** tells you which ones are vague.
3. **Design once you have the words**, because the layout follows the length.
4. **Export**, and keep the file you sent.
