# How you pay

Revquix takes payment on two rails. Which one you are on is decided for you, and it decides what the
checkout looks like.

## You do not choose the rail

It is resolved from where you are, on our side, and it is fixed for the whole purchase. There is no
switch.

That is deliberate rather than an omission: the rail decides the gateway, the currency and the
available instruments together, and letting those be picked separately produces combinations that do
not exist.

## Prices are set in rupees

Mentors price their services in rupees. On the international rail your charge is a conversion of
that price, applied at checkout - it is not a second price the mentor maintains.

The same holds for discount codes: a flat-amount code is a rupee amount, converted like everything

## What you are charged

**The figure on the confirm button is what leaves your account.** Not the headline price, not the
price before a code.

Tax is shown as its own line when it applies. Under the current configuration it comes to zero, so
most orders show a total equal to the price - the line exists so that a change is visible rather
than silent.

## An order that costs nothing

A fully discounted order, or a promotional grant, never reaches a gateway at all. No payment panel
opens and nothing is charged; the order completes and appears in your history with no processor
against it. That is a normal outcome, not a failed payment.
