A **mock interview** is sold as two things: the interview, and a written report afterwards. The
report is not a courtesy. It is half of what was paid for, and the platform treats it that way.

A 1:1 call has no such obligation - the conversation was the product.

## The deadline

Every mock interview booking carries a feedback deadline, shown on the booking and listed in your
**Pending action** tab. Filing before it is the whole requirement.

## What a late report costs

Two different things happen, on two different clocks, and mentors routinely assume they are one:

1. **Your payout is held** as soon as the deadline passes. The money is not gone; it is waiting.
2. **A breach is recorded** against your reliability score at the same moment.

If you file within **24 hours** of the deadline, the payout releases automatically with no human
involved. You have delivered what was paid for, slightly late.

> **Warning** - ⚠ The grace releases the money. It does not erase the record.
>
> The reliability breach was counted when the deadline lapsed and stays counted, even if you file
> twenty minutes later and the payout releases itself. The two are answering different questions -
> "was this delivered?" and "is this mentor consistent?" - and only the first one has a grace period.

File more than 24 hours late and the payout stops being mechanical: it goes to a person to decide.
A report nine days late has left a customer without the thing they bought for nine days, and whether
that still earns the full payout is a judgement rather than arithmetic.

## Writing one worth reading

The report is the artefact the buyer keeps and the thing they judge the purchase by six months later.

- **Be specific about what happened**, not about interviewing in general. "You described the caching
layer before the problem it solved" beats "work on structure".
- **Say what to do next.** A list of weaknesses with no actions is a verdict, not coaching.
- **Be honest.** A generous report that does not prepare somebody for a real interview fails them
where it counts, and it is the kind of thing a low rating follows.

## Feedback the other way

Buyers can review you for **30 days** after the session. See [ratings and reviews](https://www.revquix.com/docs/mentors/ratings-and-reviews).
