# Finding your way around

> The public site and the workspace, what is in each sidebar group, the Personal and Mentor views, and where notifications and settings live.

Revquix has two halves. The **public site** is what anyone can see - tools, problems, tracks, the
marketplace, the blog and these docs. The **workspace** at `/dashboard` is your own: your work, your
bookings, your credits.

Most things exist in both. A tool has a public page explaining it and a workspace page where it runs.

## The public site

The top bar carries the main areas:

| **Marketplace** | Mentors and services to book.                                        |
| **Resources**   | Coding Problems, DSA Tracks, and the blog.                           |

## The workspace sidebar

Grouped rows that open and close, and the group holding your current page is highlighted even when
it is shut. Your choices persist, so a group you closed stays closed next time.

| ----------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Overview**      | The dashboard itself, and the marketplace.                                               |
| **Revquix Tools** | Resume, Projects, Canvas, Practice, All Tools, My Runs, Credits & Passes, People Search. |
| **Content**       | Writing and reading blogs - write, my blogs, analytics, saved, community.                |
| **Mentorship**    | Find a mentor, your bookings, orders, disputes, saved mentors.                           |
| **Services**      | Browse services and your orders.                                                         |

Below the groups sit **Notifications**, **Settings** and **Profile**, plus payment history.

## Personal and Mentor views

If you are a mentor, a pill at the top of the sidebar switches between **Personal** and **Mentor**.

They are two different sidebars for two different jobs: Personal is your own learning and buying,
Mentor is your services, bookings, earnings and payouts. Nothing is lost by switching - it changes
which set of pages you see, not what exists.

> **Note** - You will not see the switcher unless you are a mentor

## Notifications

Bookings, disputes, blog activity and account events all land in [notifications](https://www.revquix.com/dashboard/notifications). What reaches you by email as well
is set in [preferences](https://www.revquix.com/docs/account/preferences).
