**If you are getting too many emails and want them stopped, this is the page** - notification
preferences are here, not in your account settings and certainly not in account deletion.

Four panels under **Preferences**, none of them consequential enough to be scary and all of them
worth a minute.

## Currency

Which currency prices are **displayed** in.

> **Warning** - It changes what you see, not what you are charged in
>
> A display currency is a convenience for reading prices. The charge itself is made on the rail that
> works for the purchase, and a booking confirmation is the authority on what was actually taken. If
> the two ever look different, the confirmation is right.

If you sell, your earning currency is a different setting entirely and is not here - see [pricing and what you keep](https://www.revquix.com/docs/mentors/pricing-and-what-you-keep).

## Stopping or reducing emails

Where updates reach you, and which ones do.

Worth tuning rather than turning off wholesale, because the categories are not equal:

> **Note** - Keep the ones about money and sessions
>
> A session reminder or a failed payout is time-sensitive and hard to recover from if missed. Product
> updates and recommendations are not. Turning everything off is how somebody misses a session they
> paid for.

## Appearance

How dense the workspace navigation is - **Comfortable**, the default with roomier rows, or
**Compact**.

Purely visual. Compact suits a small screen or somebody who navigates a lot; comfortable is easier to
hit accurately on a touchscreen.

## Your interests

What you want to see more of. It feeds recommendations across the product - what appears on your
dashboard, what gets suggested.

Skills you add to your profile already contribute here, so this is for steering rather than for
listing everything you know. See [skills](https://www.revquix.com/docs/account/skills).

- [Your account](https://www.revquix.com/docs/account/your-account) - Where these sit.

- [Credits](https://www.revquix.com/docs/payments/credits) - What prices are denominated in.
